Alignment and Core Awareness
Develop a deep sense of your core and body alignment. Explore how all movement comes from your core. Using the yoga postures, you explore how to support your limbs with your center, how to stay organized in your core and how to move with alignment, awareness and breath. Props and modifications are used to support all levels.
Move with breath! Improve strength, increase flexibility and build stamina in this open level class. This physically challenging and flowing practice integrates physical poses, pranayama and meditation, with a deep focus on alignment and body awareness. Variations and modifications are offered, making it accessible for all experience levels, encouraging students to deepen their individual practices.
Intro To Yoga
How to move with breath! This foundational class will break down the flow series and introduce you to the practice of yoga. It is perfect for the new yogi or anyone interested in a slow paced class with great instruction. The focus is on standing postures and the rhythm of moving with breath.
This class is suitable for all ages and all levels.
Yin Yoga focuses on making real and significant changes in the deep levels of fascia (connective tissue) which will insure the health of the joints, balance the muscular system, and improve flexibility.
In this class you hold each posture for five minutes as the teacher assists each students needs with the use of props. You leave feeling more balanced, elongated, and comfortable in your body. Beginners are welcome!
Gentle Iyengar Yoga
This class begins with a gentle restorative pose followed by a few minutes of sitting meditation. The second part of the class will consist of more active, but still gentle, poses. We will work to improve flexibility, strength, and balance. Poses will be adjusted to the needs of the individual using chairs and props when appropriate.Gentle Iyengar.
General Iyengar Yoga
Classes moves at a quicker pace than the Gentle Iyengar. Class and will vary depending on the population of the particular class. This is an alignment based class and is designed so that most students and abilities can be accommodated. Each class is designed with an intentional progressive sequence which builds in difficulty and variation one class after another.
Gentle Yoga and Guided Meditation
This class combines a gentle, slower paced yoga with guided meditation techniques. Participants will learn to build strength, flexibility and exercise breathing techniques. Modifications and props are used as needed.
Head to Toe Yoga Stretches
Beginning with the top of the head and systematically working down the body through the neck, shoulders, back, hips and legs. This head-to-toe routine will increase circulation, flexibility and range of motion as well as relieve stress from tense muscles. You will leave feeling fantastic- inside and out!
Restore and balance your nervous system and body alignment with minimal movement, deep relaxation with full prop support. You will be guided through deep relaxation within the restorative postures. This is a perfect way to end a stressful week, heal an injury or illness and rejuvenate for the weekend!
Beginner Yogi PM:
This workshop is specifically designed for those with little or no prior experience in yoga. Whether you want to further your practice as a beginning yogi, have specific physical limitations or need more information on how to keep yourself free from injury this small group setting is perfect for you. The goal of this class is to give you the attention and information you need, so that you can move forward in a larger group setting feeling stronger and more confident in your body. Workshop Series is $109.00 for 4 sessions. This workshop is a rolling admission. Start when you want! It is a four week series which you will have 8 weeks to complete it.
